On rainy September 22, 2012, volunteers walked their pets around the paths in the Newman Arboretum at Cornell Plantations in Ithaca, NY, having raised thousands of dollars to support medical care for animals at SPCA of Tompkins County, one of only a handful of “no-kill” shelters in the U.S. For more information, see www.spcaonline.com. Great video! Actually there are now more than a handful of No Kill communities–over 50 and counting (see http://www.no-killnews.com)! The movement is really taking off!
