On rainy September 22, 2012, volunteers walked their pets around the paths in the Newman Arboretum at Cornell Plantations in Ithaca, NY, having raised thousands of dollars to support medical care for animals at SPCA of Tompkins County, one of only a handful of “no-kill” shelters in the U.S. For more information, see www.spcaonline.com.
